Jesus was God incarnate, "God-in-the-flesh." He was sent by the Father to take on a body, and to do some incredible things. When those things were accomplished, He returned to heaven in that body. 

But then, He created another body! He made His followers His "body."

We, as the Church, are now called the “Body of Christ.” We are therefore sent by Jesus to be "God Incarnate" in this world! We are not divine like Jesus was divine, but we are indwelt with divinity! We have the Holy Spirit! And through the Spirit's leading and power, we are to "incarnate" to our world who God is and "re-present" Him. 

The Church, God's People, are called to be the continuing "Body of Christ," God incarnate, doing God's will in this world. 

This series explores this in detail. This is not just a series to read at Christmas, but throughout the year, for we never cease to be the Body of Christ.
