What is "oasis"? It is a spiritual community thirsty for God--based on Psalm 63:1.
How does "oasis" seek to do this?
It's simple really: Like three points on a triangle, we will be a group of friends in a community that will encourage one another in our spirituality that will move us toward our mission in furthering God's Kingdom in our world. We pray, sing, meditate in quietness, ask each other questions to get to know each other, seek God's direction, listen to God's voice in Scripture, and allow God's Spirit to form us spiritually. This is not "churchianity;" it is an honest attempt at authentic spirituality.
When and where does "oasis" meet? Summer Schedule: Sunday evenings at 6:30 PM (except when we share a common meal, which will meet at 5:30), at Bob and Linda Robinson's home (meeting here gives us a better opportunity to connect more personally).
